Jim has over 31 years of experience in civil engineering. Jim’s areas of expertise are commercial, institutional, and industrial construction. He is also well experienced with start-up companies as Jim first’s construction company began with 2 employees and grew to become a respected general contracting business in the Maritimes with an annual volume in excess of $100M and over 100 employees. Jim has also held senior executive positions with a national contractor. Over the last 20 years, he has been active in many different community and professional associations. Jim enjoys spending time on his various business ventures, as well as spending time with his wife and four children, fishing and in his woodworking shop.
